Dr. Randy Roberts

Wed., Thur., Fri., 7 p.m. and Sabbath 11:00 a.m. Worship Service

Randy Roberts is the senior pastor of the Loma Linda University Seventh-day Adventist Church.  He has held this position since September of 2000. Randy has spoken to many audiences nationally and internationally. He has written articles for various publications and has authored the book, Waiting and Longing published by Pacific Press.

Randy has also filled many positions at LLU. He taught full time at the School of Religion; served as a chaplain, providing patient and staff support, spiritual care and counseling; and most recently was selected to serve as the Vice President of Spiritual Life and Mission for LLU Health.

Randy is married to Anita Justiniano Roberts, who works in prayer ministries and pastoral spouse support ministries in their local conference.

Randy and Anita have a son, Austin, a pastor at Sunnyvale, Calif., SDA Church. Austin's wife, Nicole, is an OB-GYN resident at LLU Medical Center. Their daughter, Miranda, attends Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan, along with her husband, Matthew Cosaert.

Dr. Sung Kwon

Sung Kwon has served as the executive director of the North American Division Adventist Community Services since 2001 and is an ordained minister of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He served as  a pastor in the Ohio and Allegheny East conferences. Kwon studied business administration at the University of Maryland, receiving a bachelor's degree in theology from Washington Adventist University (formerly known as Columbia Union College.) Sung Kwon also earned a master's degree in public administration, concentrated in nonprofit management from Wright State University.

Though Dr. Kwon grew up in a family with Buddhist and Catholic beliefs, he became a baptized member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in 1991. Since he became an Adventist, he served as the executive director of the Good Neighbor House, an ACS agency in Dayton, Ohio, for eight years. He was also the president and vice president of the North American Association of Community Services Directors (NAACSD) during that time. 

He has served on the board of the National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters (NVOAD), the Maryland 
Association of Nonprofit Organizations, National Interfaith Coalition of Aging (NICA), and National Mass Care Council.

Drs. Claudio & Pamela Consuegra

Drs. Claudio & Pamela Consuegra are the Family Ministry Directors for the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventist. Dr. Claudio was born in Columbia, South America, while Dr. Pamela grew up in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia. They have two daughters.

Claudio has served as pastor in conferences throughout the US. and has been a law-enforcement, hospital, and hospice chaplain, a marriage and family counselor and holds a Doctor of Ministry degree in Family Ministries from Andrews University.

Pamela has a background in Adventist education, and has served as a teacher, academy principal, and Superintendent of Schools. She holds a Ph. D. in Leadership from Andrews University. 

Together they have worked as a husband and wife team in the area of family ministries in numerous conferences, hosting a live call-in family show for LifeTalk radio for three years. They have authored many articles and several books. They authored the 2019 second quarter weekly Sabbath School lesson Quarterly called "Family Seasons" as well as a companion book on the same topic, Family Seasons.

Dr. Minner Labrador 

20180425_untitled_untitled shoot_0004-2.jpgDr. Minner Labrador, Jr. serves as president of the Upper Columbia Conference. Together with the Upper Columbia Conference team and the guidance of the Holy Spirit he provides spiritual and administrative leadership to the pastors, teachers and membership. His mission is to empower all leaders and members, to grow the church and together prepare for the soon return of Jesus. 

He is a graduate of Southern Adventist University located in Collegedale, Tennessee; Andrews University located in Berrien Springs, Michigan; and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary located in Boston, Massachusetts. He completed his doctoral studies with a specialty in redemptive leadership and healthy organizational structures. 

His wife, Evelyn, is a double major graduate of LaSalle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She serves ministerial spouses in the UCC and joins Pastor labrador in many meetings across the territory. They have been married since 1986 and have two sons, Minner and Mario, who are both professional firefighters in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Labradors are proud grandparents of Lucas and Levi!
